Equipment for Filter Fabrics

Standard Equipment:
Pintle cables are used for joining seam ends together to create an endless belt. Filter fabrics with stainless steel clipper seam are standardly delivered with two plastic pintle cables. Filter fabrics with spiral seam or loop seam are delivered with a PET pintle cable with a stainless steel leader wire for easier insertion. We can also deliver pintle cables made of different materials for special applications.
Leader fabric with iron rings is used to install
a new filter fabric with a loop seam or a spiral seam onto the already installed filter fabric. It is seamed to the new filter fabric, and before installation, it is attached to the already installed one by ropes. It is then pulled into the machine.



Optional Equipment:
Velcro is used for joining two seam ends together before seaming. Velcro is used on belts with loop seam, wider than 3 m.
Triangular leader fabric is used for installation of a new filter fabric if there is no fabric installed in the machine. In that case, it is not possible to attach the old dryer fabric to the new one and a triangular leader fabric has to be used.
